Do not buy the SSW 18 LT 300 BL which is their 1/2 mid torque wrench if you want much power.
The m12 stubby 3/8 is stronger.

Metabo and metabo hpt are not the same, but hpt is not far behind in quality. If anything it just 1 step lower, but for double the price I'm not sure its worth it. $200 for the 2ah battery kit and charger, seems really overpriced. Terrific deal though, the batteries are the issue however.

The whole point of this deal is that you get the batteries, charger, and bag for free. I own both brands, and although Metabo HPT has some tools that are pretty decent, there is just no comparison with the German Metabo tools.

Damn I wish they put in larger batteries than 2ah. All those popular us brands you get at least a 5ah battery in their battery starter pack bonus. The german metabo batteries I think are part of the cas alliance which allows it to be used to be used in other companies tools like mafell if you have the cash to spend on that or if you know someone in europe, since most of these tools seem european.

That tracked cross cut saw looks interesting, not many brands do that yet. Seems to qualify for both 2ah starter kit and impact. https://www.acmetools.com/metabo-...00181.html I don't think the track is included despite the picture. I'm not sure how much runtime 2ah will give on a saw.
