I was at my local GameStop today asking about trading in some games and the worker told me to wait until next week and showed me some signage for an extra 50% for all and 60% for Pros trade in value on games. Thought I would post in case anyone was looking to trade in some games. Works out nicely with the $5 pro monthly reward as well.

    Just as a heads up, I traded in some stuff yesterday and they have a promo where the cash amount is the same as GS credit. Also found out that they accept 2DS and 3DS units still. Got $77 for my 2DS yesterday and close to $100 for my 3DS.

    This is one of the problems with GameStop…I can't find info on this deal anywhere (when it started, when it ends, Pro values or just standard). I don't doubt this is going on but they run these promos and don't advertise them, advertise them when the deal is almost over, or you only find out on site with a flyer on the front door.

    I went negative once, it happened because I bought something, redeemed points, then later returned the initial purchase.

    This is for store credit and cash? I got Mario Odyssey for $31, selling it back for $28 cash doesn't seem too bad - though I can probably get 30-35 selling it myself. Hell, I can even trade my Switch Lite for more than what I bought it for lol.

    Edit: Nevermind it says games.

    Difference might be I didn't use any rewards certificate on the initial item I purchased. When I use a certificate and later return, I've had the same experience, they refund the money minus the value of any certificate.
