Just as a heads up, I traded in some stuff yesterday and they have a promo where the cash amount is the same as GS credit. Also found out that they accept 2DS and 3DS units still. Got $77 for my 2DS yesterday and close to $100 for my 3DS.

Just as a heads up, I traded in some stuff yesterday and they have a promo where the cash amount is the same as GS credit. Also found out that they accept 2DS and 3DS units still. Got $77 for my 2DS yesterday and close to $100 for my 3DS.

oh nice. i have some old ps4 games i still need to trade in like cod vanguard, berserk, blue reflection, godzilla, and a bunch of the atelier games.

This is one of the problems with GameStop…I can't find info on this deal anywhere (when it started, when it ends, Pro values or just standard). I don't doubt this is going on but they run these promos and don't advertise them, advertise them when the deal is almost over, or you only find out on site with a flyer on the front door.

I went negative once, it happened because I bought something, redeemed points, then later returned the initial purchase.

This is for store credit and cash? I got Mario Odyssey for $31, selling it back for $28 cash doesn't seem too bad - though I can probably get 30-35 selling it myself. Hell, I can even trade my Switch Lite for more than what I bought it for lol.

Edit: Nevermind it says games.

I did that too but I only got refunded the money minus the $5 bonus

Difference might be I didn't use any rewards certificate on the initial item I purchased. When I use a certificate and later return, I've had the same experience, they refund the money minus the value of any certificate.

I agree however this doesn't start until next week and the signage I was shown in store had a "do not post until 12/4" on it and it was in a drawer. Possible there is some advertising next week on their site or in the app, but I k ow that could be a long shot as GS as you said is not very good with it.
