I bought 2 of those this past summer as well. Took it out maybe 6 or 7 times, I loved it. My wife sits and uses the kayak paddles but not the seats. The seats didn't seem all that great. I loved that it was slightly longer too so both of us could have a kid, a cooler, some snacks, fishing supplies.

I'd deflate them after every trip, wiped them down every other trip or so. I didn't know about the valve being slightly different though, been hand pumping them. For next season, I'll probably bite and get aa electric pump.

I don't know how long they'll last... but even if they only lasted this one season, I got my money's worth.
If you have ryobi 18v tools, they have a great inflater.

A life vest is smart on any watercraft, but I'd definitely wear one if going out on an inflatable.
Actually legally required. Don't remember all the details, but the water police (Tellico Lake I think TDRA) pullled me over (yeah with their little boat) and threatened me with a $300 fine a few years ago. Apparently the coast guard ran through regulations on anything over nine feet requiring a vest for each passenger and a whistle for any vessel over 9 feet long (ie, surfers don't need them). I got off because I was pretty much in the vicinity of my dock and you do not have to have them within some short distance of your dock. So now when we head out we always have a vest/whistle under the elastic cords on the front of the paddleboards. Never use them, just for the water police.
A $300 fine would cut deeply into my slickdeals savings on paddleboards.EEK!

Passing on this deal, waiting for another $200 range costco offering to get a second inflatable so I can get a second Sublue attachment and motorize it. And if there's ever a deal on those, alert me quick love these things but PRICEY

I picked up one of these last week, figured at that price, it will get my 14yo some good times and we can upgrade if necessary later.

How do these compare to the Body Glove SUPs sold at Costco? I have 3 of those with one still in the box for the family to use but they have only been used a couple of times. I am wondering if it would be better to just return them and to buy one of these cheaper boards. I mainly purchased the expensive ones because I have younger kids (ages 7-10) that go out on them with us and want something stable that won't deflate in the middle of the lake..

Anyone know the weight capacity? Wal-Mart doesn't seem to care.

edit: zoomed in on the picture of the box and it says the weight limit is 287lbs

YMMV. Coast Guard in my area doesn't police stuff like that. Paddleboarders year round, especially near summer. I think the place that rents them offers vests, but I rarely see anyone on personal SUPs bother with them. How can you show off your beach bod with that ugly orange vest on? laugh out loud

Bought a couple of the Hydro Force many years ago and they've been great
Yes I spent $300 each back when they started getting popular
The kayak seat is great.
The hand pump is useless. Buy a portable pump or inflate them at home with an air compressor.
Mine are 10' 6 ". Might not sound like much but those 6" make a difference lol
10" is getting on the short range and more unstable
These are great for $125

How bored are you? They don't care to list it in their description, because they are lazy. After "all of my research" it seems to be a Wal-Mart specific item, I couldn't find this exact board anywhere else. The Oceana on Amazon and the Bestway website is different and lists 265lbs as the max weight.

I have the handheld air mattress one that I do use to get it started.

I've considered the the dual tire inflator/deflator since I've got a few ryobi batteries. Reviews on using it for isups are hit or miss though.

No, hot the tire inflator. Its pretty lame for tires.

This goes on sale through out the year, I picked up one for $8. Its great for air mattress and also helps getting the camp fire started!!

How heavy are you?
Maybe look at something less strenuous that weight won't be a factor
Maybe it's you that's lazy
Walmart doesn't need to put in every detail to satisfy your every need

I love the Ryobi dual inflator. Works perfectly fine on both tires (honda clarity and a subaru forester) or air mattresses/etc.
