I've had the fridge/freezer for a few months now and here's my take on it:
- pros for me:
Simple/minimalist/symmetric front - flat, french doors for both fridge & freezer & no handle sticking out.
Water dispenser inside the door fridge - love the additional door to get to the water center.
2 freezer compartments w/ their own door.
Shelves/drawers in the freezer compartments making it easier to find things.
- cons for me:
No bottom full length drawer in the fridge.
No way to add an additional shelve in the fridge and limited range when it comes to moving the shelves up or down.
Water in the pitcher gets a plastic taste too quickly.
If this deal is so good that you can't avoid buying this, make sure you get an extended warranty. We bought a 4-piece Samsung set 18 months ago and we've had problems with both the fridge and dishwasher; luckily, we sprung for the extended warranty ($250 for the fridge, $60 for the dishwasher) and haven't had to pay for the repairs/parts for both. That said, it's still a hell of an incovenience to go through the warranty and repair process. Never again with Samsung!
I have Samsung appliances in my kitchen and bought them 2 years ago due to similar black Friday deals. So far so good but I am a little nervous. The general consensus is that the Korean manufacturers (Samsung and LG) break way more often than the other brands.
Samsung sells more appliances than all the appliances combined. % issues are same
EPP for me on the Matte Black Steel color shows up even slicker at $1,839.20 for both Counter and Full Depths. There's also an option for Open Box Pricing that drops it to $1,586.31. Free install and only $15 to haul away my old one... Super tempting!
Thanks for your information. I am going to purchase thru. Samsung

I always see people saying something along the lines of "my 20 year old Kenmore fridge is still working...[insert Korean brand fridge here] would die in 2 months!"
Except...newer Kenmore (or any other US based company) fridges have all probably taken reliability hits as the companies adjust their manufacturing processes and designs to increase profit. Most likely you will be rolling the dice with any newer appliance, even the extremely high end ones. Buy the extended warranty, or see if they are covered by your home warranty (our old washer and dryer were at our previous house).
I'm also not seeing the OP's price on the full-depth fridge...only the counter--depth.
Fyi: LG is one of the primary manufacturers of Kenmores and Kenmore Elites.
Source: own an LG, friend has exact identical clone but badged Kenmore Elite.
Samsung family hub owner here. buy the warranty. ice build up on the bottom of the freezer section 5 times. the draining valve failed three times in 5 years. Replaced one of the motherboards once.
Thankfully all under best buy warranty... but it just ran out. I'm about to be screwed if its not the same drain valve issue - which I just learned how to replace...
I was close to purchasing this fridge with the family hub this past weekend. Went with a Frigidaire instead that has the same 4 door design but with an ice maker in front. After reading a lot of the negative comments on Samsung refrigerators, I didn't want to risk it. Although according to the Samsung rep at Best Buy who was helping me, the Bespoke line has been doing much better.
I've had this fridge since June of 2021 and it's worked brilliantly for our needs. I was concerned about Samsung's reputation (especially around ice makers) but this ice machine is entirely different than the faulty ones of the past. We decided to make the gamble because of the auto-refill pitcher and the flex zone that we can convert into more fridge space. We have a chest freezer so our biggest need was just more fridge space, and we no longer have any issues finding all the space we need.
It's actually a bit of a conversation piece when people come over, as it's not immediately clear to visitors how to open a fridge without the traditional handles! The auto-refill pitcher does not have any weird taste to us, but I essentially cycle out the water every day since I use it for the coffee machine and to fill up water bottles quickly. Cleaning it is not difficult and the Samsung app is not bad... you can get push notifications for when the fridge is left open too long, which is convenient.
I agree with one commenter that the bottom sections require you to bend down to grab something (instead of other fridges that pull out and you can see from the top down). That's a valid complaint but the auto-refill pitcher and flex zone are such killer features that it's worth the infrequent hassle.
Got the counter depth Bespoke fridge 3 months ago. The ice bits side of the ice maker stopped producing 2 months in. scheduled a service call. they never showed. they contacted Samsung and said it could not be fixed. Samsung said they could not do an exchange and said keep the fridge and gave me a full refund instead. fwiw

Yale appliance noted that due to supply issues they sold fewer Samsung fridges and that's why their repair rate in this year's ranking was better than usual. Samsung makes one of the worst french door refrigerators on the market. Their customer service and product quality are bottom of the barrel. LG is much better than Samsung, their primary issue was a poor compressor design.

Love it. Going from a shitty French door side by side to this has been AMAZING. The pitcher, the flexibility, the space. No complaints.
