Amazon also has a non-FireTV version in a 65" for $480 (65U6H). If you don't mind the Fire OS and 58" is an ideal size for you, then $420 net is a pretty good deal. You just have to be careful to manage the $50 credit which comes in the form of an email. I lost a $10 credit from the early access sale because the email went into a folder with 9 bazillion other emails they sent me. By the time I went and looked for it, it had expired.

Sharp 65 for $300 or this one? 65 to 58 doesn't matter to me! Quality does!

"TV manufacturers, like most consumer electronics makers, love to coin new marketing terms to entice consumers. And ULED or Ultra LED is one such marketing term, rather than some ground-breaking new technology. ULED televisions are essentially LED-backlit LCD TVs"

Hisense says it uses the term "ULED TV" to highlight its LED televisions that have at least 4K resolution and use the company's patented enhancements in color gamut, local dimming, and motion smoothing.

This is not a slick deal. ULED is marketing. Not to be confused with OLED.

This is a pretty standard 58" tv that should run around $300 based on other similar models and specs.

This was $300 during BF so not the lowest.

No one confuses ULED with OLED anymore than one would confuse QLED with OLED.

ULED is just Hisense's version of QLED. They are not the same as their standard LED sets (which, btw, do NOT have full array panels with local dimming zones and 600 nits of peak brightness like this model does) so its not just marketing.
