The Bonfire is only 19.5" all the way across this thing is 21".I would venture to say the opening on both is going to be pretty similar. Warranty wise what are they really going to cover outside of normal use?
Inner diameter of the bonfire is 17.5" this appears to be 15"

In this case the 2.5" of difference between the inner diameter of these two is important IMHO (but you know what they say about opinions.)
Warranty, however, is a factor. Plenty of stories of Solo Stove customers getting brand new units shipped to them years after the initial purchase for warranty coverage.

As far as warranty goes: are you really bashing a product for its LIFETIME warranty? Stuff breaks, stainless rusts. Welds give out. It happens. Quality products are backed by a company willing to stand behind their products.
Is this pit cheaper? Sure (when it was in stock.) I was just giving my opinion on a what I consider a better alternative.

Did anyone else notice the box states the following: 19.5" Cotten steel octagon fire pit w/ lid.
But The product page stated 21"
Was there a different version that is 21"?
