As a counter to the positives - I got this one a recent deal, and am disappointed in it. I wasn't looking for a super close shave, but for me at least it never gets much closer than the 5 o'clock shadow level - it works ok, but it is not worth it imo

A OneBlade trimmer is the best one I've used in decades. Very easy to use and the blades easily last 4 months each.

I get razor burn with safety razors. This doesn't get quite as close, but it also doesn't leave red bumps on my skin. I use it wet in the shower without any trouble.

For me it's perfect for above the beard, not so much on the neck as it leaves a few hairs behind that I have to use a Gillette 🪒 to finish the job but I still like this razor since it lasts a long time.

I also used it to shave my head bald a few times and I liked the results since unlike the razor, it doesn't slice my head to bleed but it takes much more time to finish the job.

For someone who does not enjoy shaving… How would you rate the face shaving experience with these compared to a Gillette? Would you say Easier? Quicker? Both?

Agreed, the attachments can break easily due to the small flimsy clips that hold them on, and I'd be interested in getting new attachments.
Overall, I really like the trimmer, though.

I got this about 3 years ago, i haven't used a normal razor since. It doesn't get as close to the skin, but you don't have to worry about irritation. It was a game changer for me

Got one for my teen who is starting to get a mustasch.

It should be fine. I hate having a beard but hate shaving. I use it when I don't have anything important to look good at or when I have not shaved for several days. With an almost a beard it is MUCH less painful than ripping through it with a razor. I'll either use it and call it "good enough for government work" or I use it to knock down my beard so shaving with a razor does not hurt too much.

TLDR: It's no where near as close as a razor blade but it's pretty close and hurts way less than a blade if you like to go for a while between shaves.
