Heads up, Columbia has the stupid policy where they won't/can't cancel your order once you've placed it online and you've got to pay shipping to return it.. even if it's a problem on their end like with the website not processing a coupon correctly.

Double check everything before you hit the buy button, ESPECIALLY after you get sent back to the website from Paypal.

All fine and dandy until you realize the M fits like L and L fits XXL and then they offer no exchange of sizes but make you return for $8 and then place new order. I went through same - $8 return on $24 fleece jacket.

I just received an L and it indeed fits like a XXL. I have to return it now, but I believe they only deduct $6 from your refund for return shipping. Might suck on a $24 order, but sufferable on a $100+ order.

I just bought this then saw the last two comments about the sizes running large.

Sucks because i am in the middle of two sizes and purposely went up one size just to be extra safe.

I guess im stuck now.

Not if you pay by Paypal, Klarna, or Apple Pay, they must be returned via shipping. Columbia only accepts in-person returns at one of their 16 branded stores in the US, of which only two are on the east coast: NJ and FL. Not exactly easy.
Even if you ship it yourself cheaper they'll still deduct $6 from the refund.

It's a policy decision, not a technical limitation, that they can't even have like a 10-15 minute timeout window for cancellation after you place an order. Confused
