The downvotes are people who literally cant afford a Tesla nor have the actually driven one.

Source: Me, I have a M3P, ~$60K. Granted, its not cheap, but i love my car. All build quality issues were remedied, not that I had a ton. Try racing in a Chevy Bolt. Lol. Autopilot has been a godsend and easily saved my ass on more than 1 occasion.
I am glad M3P is all you could afford. Imagine you could afford something like 100k+, man you are gonna brag even harder.

Btw your M3P is not that special.

Good try, Elon. Paid $28k for my Accord, enjoy using CarPlay with Google Maps and Spotify. No subscriptions and can "charge" it fully under 3-4min lol. Hasn't saved my life yet because I am a good driver and pay attention to road.

Lets Pretend Tesla would be where it is today without government aid
The same could be said for the big three as well. laugh out loud

Hell, banks and airliners too.

If you're starting a company and the government is offering incentives to do so, you would be stupid for not taking them unless they have some crazy negative terms, which usually they don't if they're trying to spur innovative development.

I'm more interested for the Tesla connector to be standard, their chargers are usually constant higher rates, in more useful locations and usually well maintained, compared to CCS ones.

This is good deal for those who are not going to be qualified for $7500 IRA due to income limit, plus you get savings up front 1 year early and reduce taxable amount.

income part is correct, savings upfront part is incorrect because with the new 7500 rebate you don't need to wait for tax filing

Incorrect. That part starts in 2024. In 2023 you still need to file return to get it back.

Cars in the US are way overpriced, especial EVs. More competition is needed.

I mean Musk received 1.5 billion in state grants from my state for a promised 5 billion spending. Nothing has been done for his proposed solar tech and he pocketed most of it. Then he raised the price on tesla solar panels which covered the 27% in federal grants.
And states have been giving Tesla a lot of incentives tax-free worth billions of dollars, aside from federal govt funding.
That in addition to tax credits for buyers of tesla cars. All in all, the federal govt and state were tesla's primary source of money. And then they increased price once those grants were secured.

Comparing these to banks and airlines is not really a good comparison.

End of quarter push.

As a Tesla owner, I would not recommend it due to their POS quality control. Model Y roughness car I have ever own and sat in. You feel like you are driving offroad with any imperfection on the road.
