Lot of questions on the authenticity of items bought from this seller.

Personally fell for a prior SD Staff Influencer promoted "deal" from EyeDictive, wrote to Timberland about the product i received and was told EyeDictive is not an authorized reseller and that they have an active fraud investigation.

YMMV but take these great prices on "name brand" sunglasses with grain of salt.
Guarantee there will be mix of comments saying 1. I got fakes! Or 2. I've ordered before and mine are real. Majority of people can't tell genuine from decent knockoffs.

I have ordered from this site before the exact same yellow glasses on this deal few years ago; and as far as I can tell, they are original and not fake. I guess YMMV!!!

I bought Lacoste from them once. If they were real they were SUPER CHEAP TRASH. Never again.

Eh, I take them saying they have a "fraud investigation" with a grain of salt too. I see timberland stuff at Marshalls. If they have there stuff at Marshalls I just assume their chain of command isn't that strict.

That said I've gotten two brands from them and was happy with the quality and price I've paid

Lmao…you're gonna compare a retail chain of over 1,000 department stores that have been in business since the 1950s to a website that doesn't even have a phone number or address?

Here we go again. for those who claim they sell fakes, can you provide more details? Just because they aren't an authorized dealer doesn't mean they sell fake. I bought few pairs from them and never had issues

Ordered a pair of Lacoste off a previous Slickdeals post. Not sure about authenticity (I'd say they seem legit?) but I wouldn't say they worth worth even the discounted price.

The point is that Marshalls buys from warehouses, sells well below retail prices and offloads their unsold merchandise. Im not comparing the two.

Simply stating that there's plenty of ways for a discount/overstock reseller to acquire legit merchandise through unofficial channels from a brand like timberland. Take your lmao elsewhere till you can understand a simple point

It's also possible, and likely, theyve ended up getting scammed with knockoffs since they buy from unofficial channels, but it's highly unlikely it's a knockoff operation.

If you aren't sure or if there's is a slight doubt of authenticity of stuff from this retailer better to avoid it

No "here we go again."

They are NOT an authorized reseller.

They have been heavily scrutinized with hundreds of people complaining about their fakes right here on SD.

The only reason we even see this company is because they pay SD to post their deals. If SD had the same set of standards for "affiliates" as they do for third party amazon sellers, we would never even see this website posted. Anything for a buck.

In fact, next time someone reports to Timberland or Lacoste about these fakes and Eyedictive, make sure to let them know who the enabler is…Slickdeals.

I've bought a couple of pairs from them, I got some Raybans which are 100% legit and some Serengeti's. I really doubt they are throwing out name brands like Rayban, Lacoste, etc and stayed in business this long if they're selling fakes.

Despite what you write, do not be thrown off that they are selling $190 Lacoste at $57 (now with a promo at $37). These glasses sell for $50-$70 everywhere - that is the marketprice -and will be $190 only at the Lacoste website. Same with all other brand sunglasses. The prices they sell are generally par for the course, not really a massive discount.

They are similar to grey-market watch sellers like Jomashop, Ashford, chrono24, etc. Jomashop, one of the largest and major grey-market seller, sell these sunglasses at similar prices.

Any purchase from a grey-market seller carries some risk. The actual manufacturer/brand warranty or support will not be applicable. The grey-market seller tends not to have a big customer service department. So, if any issues, at most there will be a very short window (15-30 days) to return. So, if one doesn't like the product received, do not waste time on support calls, exchanges - just return the product for a refund.
