I used to buy these Lowe's gift cards online - forgot the site but it's similar. For several months had no problems and I thought I found a cheat code to shopping at Lowe's.

But then one of these cards ($300 I think) was declined at Lowe's. When I contacted the gift card site they said the card was purchased with a fraudulent credit card so tough luck. The gift card site didn't cover it even though they purchased the card so I ended up eating $300.

Never again.

You think it's a scam? I purchased a 25 dollar one and just used it an Lowes.

I think they are simply doing their due diligence, trying to protect themselves and the owner of the paypal account.

I just bought 5 and used PayPal

Best cheat code I've found is the coupons on eBay for $$ or % off. Typically only a few dollars and they arrive in email instantly. Have always worked and always saved me at least 3-5x what I pay for coupon sometimes more
