I'm not seeing the 12 second preview on these cams. I have a card inserted and can go back and review but cannot view events like on the v2 cams. Anything I need to do different or is this the way it will work without sub.?
Ok I removed the sd cards and reinserted and everything seems fine now.

in the last thread people thought it was a price mistake. I've never paid more than 17 for wyze cam. just seems like normal good and fair sale price.

It's technically HD but don't expect fine detail. No way you can make out license plates or fine facial features. You need 2K or 4K for that, and better optics. But to see what's going on, it's more than fine. They tell you that you need a subscription, but that's only if you want advanced features and viewing on your PC. But the app's free and live and recorded video can be viewed on a phone or tablet, and does more than enough. I'll probably get the subscription, $20/year, for PC access, but it's not essential.
