Downside is as the enter bottom gets pressed over and over it dies. Expect to get maybe 5 years out of them if code is used daily.
If your a landlord, setup one time use codes, these locks allow for that, planning ahead for a lock out.... When you get the call, give them the code. Charge what you think is fair for the planning and convince, lock smith run quite a bit more.
Otherwise, don't give codes so the bottoms aren't run ragged... they were for emergencies and your convenience
