Isn't wired preferred for fighting games?
Yeah let's just say you aren't the intended customer for this. The vast majority of people that play fighting games even semi competitively understand that wired is still the way to go.
You are missing one analog stick which may be an issue in some genres. Even JRPGs will sometimes use it for camera control. Racing would probably work well and definitely good for 2d platformers or retro. FPS and sports is out of the question. The analog stick is designed for games like Soul Calibur and Dead or Alive, maybe Tekken though if you were playing since around Tekken 2 you probably prefer the dpad
Something by 8bitdo would be your best bet. If you are on ps5 then just buy pink, purple, or black dualsense. the drift is fixed and all three controllers look beautiful
I really don't like this controller at all. I would stick with a ps4 pad or the series x controller.

If you accidently swap the switch you can just put some tape over it so you won't fat finger it.
Wired isn't removeable seems to be working as intended as this is a wired controller which is the preferred connection for fighting games.
I am not aware of a mechanical dpad controller outside of customs, but correct me if I am wrong.
Seems like you are not the demographic for this, my trusty old madcatz fightpad has all the same complaints as what you described for this Hori.
the old Hori FC controller, not as stiff though.
The weight and feel of the controller body is very cheap, for me its not a problem.
For some people that may be a deal breaker for them.
I have the series x controller and ps4/ps5 controller.
Series x controller is also good for back dash and for Mishimas.
PS4/5 though.... I can wave dash and electric. But for the life of me, I cannot korean back dash for shit with that controller.
Then don't look at deals for wired controllers?
Dpad on raion is too big And you have to be accurate where your thumb placement is.
Because its very sensitive.
