Thru the year they have deep discount sales for rotating categories, often for barely 4.25$ or so (used to be 3.95$) for body care items plus a chance to apply % or $ off coupon.

Plus, their semi annual sale (SAS) in June-July and post-holidays in winter are great time to stock up. Many products go 75% off and with further 20% off or so, they cost couple of dollars a piece.

4.95$ is a decent price point to get a bunch of stuff across product categories without tracking too many sales. But please don't think this is the lowest price point of the year. With that clarity, enjoy the sale and stock up for self and / or gifts this holiday season.

My personal strategy is to buy for all holidays gifts during summer SAS and store them in a cool dry place for 75% off + further 20% off so I can be generous in how much I can give to my family and friends. This way, I don't feel pressurized to buy right before holidays and can still have money left over for snagging deals when the winter SAS begins soon!

Hope this helps.

Carrying on from my original comment, if you're participating in this sale, focus on products strategically.

Buy products that rarely go on a deep discount (body butters / glowtions, scrubs).

Shower gels, lotions, creams, FFMs (mists) go on sale frequently and for far lesser if not similar. If you still wish to get these, get the ones on the highest end of the pricing such as 17.50 - 18.50$ and not 13.50 - 15.50$. They're not redeemable when you get free product reward upto 16.50$. Similarly, a % off coupon or sale doesn't save as much on these high priced ones vs a flat priced promo such as this one.

Aromatherapy range doesn't go on sale as often and if you're meaning to stock up on it, this is the perfect time to grab those scrubs, bath soaks, etc.

Some not so mainstream products like CBD balms are also part of this sale for those who are interested.

Hope it helps.

No free shipping. If you don't want to pay shipping, you could always go into the store and buy then for same deal.
Shipping fees sucks but maximize it by buying more I guess. Going in store costs gas and time, which will end up costing more in the end anyway.

Hi dealthedeal1,

You can't combine those type of coupons. Frown You just need to do separate/multiple transactions.Smilie

Bought some soaps hoping to give them as gifts in the last deal, my gosh they are horrendous! The ones we've tried have dried my families hands out so bad I'm almost nervous to give them as gifts because they're just so terrible. Been years since I'd tried them but my god, the formula is garbage!

I'm guessing this is how they get people to buy the lotions with the soap so that your hands don't feel like sandpaper. Yuck! Never again.

From my experience, their cheapest price appears around semi-annual sale around summer.

Usually Bath & Body Works turns off "Buy Online Pickup In Store" option when they have a huge sale event like candle day/body care day. Frown
