It just depends on what you mean by light use. Usually when I hear that term it's web browsing and some video streaming. If that's the case, this should be plenty. See if you can upgrade the ram. A bump up to 16 gigs of RAM would be really nice for this.

I'm seeing out of stock for delivery and not available in any nearby stores (won't let me set a radius or anything. But I tried multiple zip codes about 50 miles away.)

If you read closer, you'd see the boost frequency of it is 4.4 ghz.

Surely the ddr4x is in a dual channel confit, right?

With the 12th gen Iris Xe graphics and dual channel ddr4x, this should handle casual gaming nicely.
