Make sure you purchase just the headphones and not the "fantastic" AppleCare + bundle. These are still $200 on Amazon (Costco as well for those that have one nearby and want extra warranty and return policy from Costco).

Somehow the bundle on Amazon with AppleCare + is $278 which is hilarious because AppleCare + is the next recommended item right below the headphones, for the regular $29.

Any opinions on these vs. beats fit pro? I won a pair of these at a work Christmas party yesterday, but have a coupon for a free pair of Beats Fit Pros coming in about a month from Verizon.

Upgrading from the original AirPods. Trying to decide which pair to keep and which to sell.

This advice is solid. Had mine for a year and had a problem with NC on the right earbud. Costco took them back with zero issues. They did make sure to match the serial numbers for both earbuds which was interesting. Obviously I used the money to pick up this deal, and as mentioned it turned out to be a big upgrade. NC is much better and spacial audio on these is just crazy good!

If you buy these at Costco... What's the point of apple care? Just return it to Costco if there is an issue within the 2 years that apple care would matter

Yup, I did the same thing. I have had headphone issues with gen 1 and returned them. I've also had multiple elite Xbox controllers break after a year or two and returned them with zero hassles. And yes, every purchase has been verified by serial number. If you do not have the exact item, they will not accept the return. Just don't abuse it or eventually you will ruin it

Yep. I worry about posting Costco return policy stuff on SD because some might abuse it, but hopefully the majority here get it,.

I wouldn't get this if I am not in Apple ecosystem. There are other options out there if not apple.
