Somehow the bundle on Amazon with AppleCare + is $278 which is hilarious because AppleCare + is the next recommended item right below the headphones, for the regular $29.

If that doesn't work, remove item form cart and clear your cache/data if you are on CPU. If you in app, remove item and closed out of app completely and try to add it again. Also, you can purchase the AppleCare from apple within 30 days from date of purchase.
Removing the items and adding back to the cart (and adding Applecare from the popup) worked, thanks!
Upgrading from the original AirPods. Trying to decide which pair to keep and which to sell.
I'm not sure what happened, but it went from great to just horrible.

Do not get the AppleCare, this will make Costco push the return to Apple instead of Costco. You do not need the credit card for this purchase for an extended warranty, Apple headphones do not fall under the 90 day returns, you can return them if you ever have any issues.
Edit:
yeah what they said!
Yup, I did the same thing. I have had headphone issues with gen 1 and returned them. I've also had multiple elite Xbox controllers break after a year or two and returned them with zero hassles. And yes, every purchase has been verified by serial number. If you do not have the exact item, they will not accept the return. Just don't abuse it or eventually you will ruin it
