Good deal. You would probably spend more in wood and fasteners trying to replicate.
I'd jump on it but my garage ceiling is not high enough for this.

Put these up in my garage and have no complaints, very sturdy! The hook set is a nice touch to be able to hang bikes, lawn chairs, etc… right out of the box.

I got these when they were $240 (April of 2021), bought two sets when Costco had a $100 off $500 promo going to make it extra slick. That brought them down to $190 for each set. Probably won't see those prices ever again, but just adding some historical pricing/deals.

Bought this set a few years ago (4x8) and also the set of (2x8) for a tight wall we have. Nothing but good things to say.

We do need a ladder to get up to them but live in a upper midwest climate where many things are out of service 6 months a year. Not for all people but defintiely serve a nice purpose.

The accessory kit is great. The hooks and brackets make great out-of-the-way storage for hoses and cords and shovels.

I installed 2 4x8s myself. Installing single handedly was tough. Especially when the bars don't fit into the holes because of extra thickness/layer of paint. Spent a lot of time filing (manually) to make them fit nice and snug inside the holes provided. Measuring with single ladder was hard too. Highly recommend getting another person to help. I also had to replace one of the metal trays as the welded joints were not welded anymore.
Very sturdy and gives a nicer look.

I bought and installed these about a year and a half ago. They are rock solid. I store unused lumber on them and never worry about it falling on me. You put multiple lag bolts into the studs. I guess for those that worry about falling, do you worry about your garage door falling on you?

Just installed this set yesterday. It took me 5 hours assembling it by myself. Not terribly bad just make sure you're hitting your joists and you should be fine.

Bought this kit in May 2020 for $240. Installed both in a few hours with a helper. They originally sent me some parts in a grey color but they were quick to pick them up and send new ones. Have camping gear and some extra wood stashed with no issues.
