Not sure why its voted down. its the best price I have seen for Reference premier floor standing speaker (RP 280F) in ebony color and that too from a Klipsch authorized dealer. $299 each or $598 for a pair with free shipping, no prime membership needed.

Only if you want to use them for Atmos. Most folks wanting speakers for a 2 channel setup or a non Atmos HT setup will prefer these.

I've had these for nearing 3 years now. I got them for like 780 for the pair. Amazing set of towers. These are just the previous models of the 8000f towers. I prefer the stand on these anyway. These hit hard too. My SVS sub went into safety shutoff after a few power surges and I didn't even notice for a few days because these towers were putting in work. Highly recommend these

Not sure why its voted down. its the best price I have seen for Reference premier floor standing speaker (RP 280F) in ebony color and that too from a Klipsch authorized dealer. $299 each or $598 for a pair with free shipping, no prime membership needed.

My living room is double height so I don't think Atmos would work. Agree if you need Atmos those might be better

First time black has been this price that i know of. In for a pair. The fa are better if you need atmos as they are real wood veneer but I do not use atmos. Great deal OP

Atmos speakers reflecting off the ceiling is only a second best alternative to ceiling installed atmos speakers and works best only if there is a flat ceiling of 8 to 10 feet height.

RP280FA's has atmos speakers built into the top of the towers and works by reflecting sound off the ceiling, also have a bigger depth (19" vs 17"). If you have a flat celling of about 8 to 10 feet height and is ok with the walnut wood color, then RP-280FA are a better deal for $50 more.

Ppl like myself would prefer real ATMOS rather than the bouncing off the ceiling.
