I thumb'd up this deal, but found some useful "cons"

Cons:

1) According to one reviewer, this thing is super heavy. So if you run out of power home, no chance you'll be using it as regular kick scooter home rest of the way. Probably have to lock it up and drive back for it lol.

2) One Amazon reviewer said if a wheel goes flat, there's no way to change a tube. You have to order a new wheel from Razor for $50.

Bad. SLA batteries are the same tech as your car battery. Heavy and really not meant for EV apications

Eh $25 more gets you a refurb jetson bolt pro https://ridejetson.com/collection...nufactured [ridejetson.com] which seems like a massively better value if you don't need the small size. I have a refurb, it showed up looking like new with a better paintjob than my $800 bike. Maybe theres a coupon code to stack on that price too.
I've read scary reviews about refurbs from Jetson. Which makes sense when you think how many were abused and returned back to Costco. But glad yours worked out.

I actually bought two refurbs from them, a jetson bolt and a bolt pro. I sold the jetson bolt and the pro has less than 300 miles, but they have been solid. Really surprisingly nice paintjobs. I know they have a mixed reputation for reliability in general, new or refurbed, so I think I've just been lucky.

All the positive reviews (5star) are "incentivized "
The only other one is a 1 star.

Razor e300 has speeds up to 15 mph also and up to 10 miles distance and that scooter has been on the market for years.
Razor keeps putting old or outdated parts in their scooters and just give them a different design.
These scooters are laughable to be considered adult scooters.
36v battery no try 3 12v heavy as hell batteries

I bought two of these. One for me and one for my wife. We've not had something like this in the past and this about for $200 seemed decent. I have to far, I enjoy it. I'm not using it for anything other than riding around the neighborhood with my son and his electric scooter. The this did get up to 15 mph pretty quickly and only cost any $80 than the little e100 we got my son. I plan to use it to get around campgrounds as well. Yeah, it's a bit heavy, but it's totally still rideable even without power. This may end up being a jumping off point to sometime more expensive down the line but we'll see. For $200 even if I get only a year out of it I'll be happy.

I use to own two e300 Razor scooters, got on slickdeals for my kids. The scooters were sturdy with decent speed, could travel over grass lawns and deal with road impacts, and the kids had fun. But the e300 were on the heavy side and the SLA batteries after maybe 3 years or so, started to lose ability to keep a decent charge. So at this point, I'd go lithium. I got a cheap lightweight lithium scooter on a slickdeal a few years ago and battery seems still like new.

I have a Xiaomi m365 and Lithium is not without issues either, but they are definitely lighter than SLA. During the Pandemic, I stopped using my Xiaomi m365 and opted for my eBike and after a year of not charging the scooter, the battery was totally dead. Didn't know about having to condition lithium batteries until I read it was a common issue on the Xiaomi forums. They also speak of batteries needing to be replaced every few years. My laptops and phones never suffered the same issues. So now I got to order another set of batteries off Aliexpress which is half the cost of this Razor scooter. Good thing about Xiaomi or Ninebot though, is that there is a large after market support for wheels, panels, batteries, and hacks.

Had this prob and sold my scooter with that flat bc it's impossible to switch. Also getting replacement is a head ache. They perf you to send them to complete scooter and pay for shipping back and forth.
