Pro-tip, get Slime which should help reduce/prevent punctures.
Edit: Seems the front 12" tire can't remove valve core so isn't slime compatible. Rear tire valve core removal works fine and was able to add slime.

Cons:
1) According to one reviewer, this thing is super heavy. So if you run out of power home, no chance you'll be using it as regular kick scooter home rest of the way. Probably have to lock it up and drive back for it lol.
2) One Amazon reviewer said if a wheel goes flat, there's no way to change a tube. You have to order a new wheel from Razor for $50.

The last e-scoot for $200 in november, but it gets horrific reviews on quality.
these having a lead acid (more cycle life than lithium??) are heavy, but the design appears sturdy and well built. Razor been making scooters for decades.
if youll use it a lot id pay 22$ for the 3 year, good insurance for a sealed lead acid.

If you wanted, you could but a drop-in lithium ion replacement battery that have built in controllers to emulate lead-acids and save 2/3 on weight
But all of this talk about lead acid batteries being a stone age technology that we're supposed to avoid like the plague and a no-brainer deal killer are hard for me to understand. From a design standpoint, for this application, lead acid batteries seem like a reasonable engineering and cost solution . Not sure about the less range observation, but interested in what that's based on

So, not impossible, and now I have a much lighter, lithium scooter with longer range and slightly more speed. Something to think about - just run the SLA's into the ground and replace with lithium when the time comes! Of course, you know, don't attempt if you're not mechanically minded and do so at your own risk, yadda yadda yadda. I'm just saying you're not stuck with SLA and there are upgrade avenues down the road. Maybe more advice if you've already bought one... if you've not bought yet, obviously go lithium from the start!
This scooter is extremely nice for $200…it's well built, actually very well built. The green light came on the charger in 5 minutes, so I gave it a little test ride in 40 degree weather. It really rides very nice, and it's pretty damn zippy…
If this price wasn't blasted all over the net, I'd buy at least 5 more and flip them. Worth $200 all day, any day!
