So i got this for BF and have been using it for about a week. Performance is solid, but man....battery life on fancy smartwatches is just not great. I would not consider leaving always on running, it will last several hours that way if it is not set too bright.

I got it for reminders and notifications, so nothing to say about the health tracking features. there are tons of reviews out for this thing on some blogs and on youtube. The turning bezel is nice but I just swipe half the time anyway.

I also got it from Walmart black Friday deal. It is a nice watch, but i do not like battery life. Can last a day of use, but i would not expect it to last second day.

I wore a $40 dumb-smartwatch (can read texts and decline calls only) most of the year, best digital watch I've ever owned. Just upgraded to what could only be even better in the watch 5. All the improved technology and connectivity is impressive. Just not worth the trade off to me for increased thickness, having to charge daily vs. twice a week, and generally a little more difficult to use.

The only problem is I got so spoiled to the samsung's much improved look, I cannot go back to the generic black squaer now. Never had a problem or even thought about its style before.LMAO Im sitting on the sidelines until something solar and thin enough comes out. Unfortunately the more sensors they get, the thinner they aint. Not good for battery life either. Slow down with the sensors. We have enough sensors.

I just traded in my GW4 Classic for a GW5 pro and I just want to give people a heads up on one thing and that is BATTERY. The GW4 classic is awesome, but the battery is really small and does not last very long at all. I would HIGHLY recommend that if you can fit it in your budget, to get the GW5 Pro instead, its basically the same watch but much better battery that can last days vs one day maybe a day in a half with the GW4 classic. If the small battery is not a concern for you though, the GW4 classic is still awesome.

I have recently got this watch (44mm version) and usually get about 2 days without charging. Here are some tips how I get a better battery performance: If doesn't have a mobile plan, make sure it is turned off mobile networks. Wifi is another if he isn't using it. I also have my NFC off since I use my phone to make purchases. I only connect my Samsung phone with my watch through my Bluetooth. If that shows no improvement, turn on the Power Saving mode feature, but it will limit some features.

I also have an older model, Samsung Gear S3 Classic (46mm) and I can get about 3 days without charge.

Better to wait doe GW5 Pro to hit 150 or less. We know it'll drop next year.

A lot of battery life comments. If you are ok charging the watch each night, the watch is fine. I wear mine during day, and charge at night. I put on the watch each morning at 6:30am and I have approximately 35% battery life left at 9:30/10pm. I do use always on display.

I feel it is a great watch especially for $150.

I have an option for this watch for 100 refurbished. Is it worth it or go with with be a Amazfit? I read one review saying gw4 takes two hours to charge. Is that true?

Get the 46mm if your wrist can handle it. The battery life is a lot better compare to the 42mm version.

It was the same galaxy watch 4 classic. The price for Amazon renewed seems to go from 100 to 150. It's up right now.

Thanks for the tip, but 46mm costs twice as much.

The used one is very much the same price for both sizes.
