I'm familiar with isolate vs concentrate. In fact this brand actually went for $7/lb a few years back. I do recognize that deals are harder to find. But what I do not recognize is this is the new "normal".

Myprotein has been slickdeals' darling until most recently. Hell last year I got 12lbs of isolate for $60 shipped from myprotein.

I'll continue to hold out as long as I have back stock.
Key phrases: "a few years back"
"Last year"
Hold out as long as you'd like.

Whey protein isolate unflavored is best. No added sweeteners whatsoever. You can add something yourself if needed, instead of harmful chemical falsely labeled "natural" artificial sweeteners.
I was with you until the pseudoscientific "harmful chemical" nonsense.

If you agree whey protein isolate unflavored is best, that's the important part.

No need to get overly defensive about your precious, beloved sweetener(s).

My biggest problem and reason why I am trying out other brands is the use of Sucralose for sweetener - wish the Stevia only version was available/on sale for a similar price.

The masses don't seem to care, it's slowly being sneaked into many things. Can't see anything good come of it! Myprotein have started putting it in also.

Do not get vanilla. Tastes like unflavored protein with some artificial sweetener.

hey! i got the fruity pebbles one and enjoyed it, so i got i the cocoa pebbles one figuring i'd like it too.

wouldn't recommend, not a fan of the flavor. it seems like they try and have pieces of cocoa pebbles in it, but it comes across as protein clumps. flavor isn't very similar, tastes like a sweet off-chocolate protein powder.
I was actually the other way. I really liked the Cocoa Pebbles one and disliked the Fruity Pebbles. The Fruity pebbles tasted too fake to me. But that was my taste buds.

I don't believe you will ever find whey isolate any cheaper than $10/lb anywhere, ever
What prices are you seeing for whey concentrate?

11/26/2021 I bought Vitamin Shoppe WheyTech Pro for $3.26/lb, 75g protein/100g whey. I bought 110 lbs of it, and am on my last 20 lbs of whey supply.

Been passively looking at SD for a year since then and haven't really figured out what's the appropriate bulk-buy price for whey protein concentrate. Is it really $7/lb now? JFC.

Any way to get this deal with something other than the energy drinks? I don't drink energy drinks so they would be a waste for me.
