Not bad for an alternative to the L5P 1399 deal if the GPU is at least 140w. Specs don't say anything about USB-C. Informational overview talks about USB-C but it seems like they copy pasted it from an Intel based laptop since it says TB4. Device pictures show a C port in the rear but no idea to its specifications or if it supports charging or USB4. Also no idea if the recycled a picture from an intel based listing.

I tried digging up some more info. I think there is some decent info here: https://community.microcenter.com...eup-review. This looks to be the MG-VCP2-15A3070T version. Looks like it may be a 3070 TI configured @ 125w out of the box.

Hm. I picked up a Zephyrus G14 (6900HS/6700s) a few weeks ago at 1299 at BestBuy... this seems like it would blow it out of the water for a few hundred bucks more.

They're consistently better/faster by the numbers. Now would I ever notice a difference between the two? Probably not

Ah ok. Thanks for the link. I don't know if the guy that runs that site ever changed his bias, but I've read that AMD is just not accurately represented there... Here's one link that sorta talks about it

https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc...t/itigfap/

I personally would lean Intel too, if I had the choice, since I've seen friends have more issues with AMD over the years... But I dunno. Can't say whether they're actually about equal or not at this time

Edit: anyone know if we can buy an in-store warranty if 2-3 years or something for this, and how much that might cost? I didn't see an option on the site, but I know they sell warranties for almost everything in-store

Just looked up the microcenter credit card and special financing.

They have 6/12/24/36 month financing on the credit card with 0% interest and this laptop is not one of the eligible selections.

might bite this if it was.

I threw away the sheet but I'm pretty certain 2 years was $279 and 3 year was an option as well, dont' recall how much. I think it went down as you added more time. Unsure if different at other locations, this was for Southern Calif
