Not a bad watch after they updated the firmware to correct a few issues. A great starter to see if you like the smartwatch concept. Not accurate while driving in terms of step count but that is a common issue with other brands as well. I wasn't to fond of the band design, Comes unlatched too easy for what I do on a daily basis. I found the concept works for me so I just upgraded to the bip pro from the bf deal.

I've lost two of these (mi band) over the last few years becaue of the bands coming undone when I was carrying stuff. Has anyone figured out a better wristband?

The other thing is that, unless I'm wrong, I think this requires the zep app, which I didn't really care for when I used a bip for a while and then an amaz band (don't remember which number). I preferred the third part app you could use for the mi bands (notify and fitness, I think?).

Bought the 7 recently. Believe the reviews that talk about how awful the band is! Currently have a big gash in my wrist from it chafing. Horrible design.

I slept with mi band 5, and it left a burn on my wrist the next day! After that I just stuck with a sleep tracking mat from withings

Don't remember which version I have but I got a third party band that's an elastic band after the plastic one cracked on me, on Amazon.

Edit: Search Xiaomi elastic nylon strap.

Is this mentioned as a women's band because of the color? Is there really any difference? It sounds like the band stinks anyway and you probably want to replace it, so cheaper device and you can just buy a band with a color you choose?

You're likely allergic to the band or your own sweat. I had a rash from a similar band that looked like a burn.

It sounds like a knockoff brand just to get the SEO from people just typing amaz.
Nope, they've been around a while as a budget brand.

I keep waiting for them to make the AmazBalls that can count your slams or tosses. Marketing coup.

Interesting, I thought the band may have overheated and just stayed in a constant "on" mode. Did not consider the chance of allergic reaction

Yeah, unfortunately it's an allergic reaction. I have the same issue with my Band 5 when I wear it to sleep. Thus, I can't wear it to sleep, and use it only during the day (which doesn't bother my arm). This never happened with previous fitness trackers/watches. You could try a different type of band (I've been lazy to buy a new one)

Wow, you're experience is lining up exactly with mine! It never while wearing it during the day, it only happened after nighttime use and I immediately stopped (maybe 1-2 uses)
