I actually just installed a TV using this.. picked up previously at $20. Everything worked great and very easy to assemble. I didn't take any measurement and the sound bar ended up quite a bit lower than I would have liked. My own fault because somehow I thought the sound bar was quite a bit taller than it really is. Would have to take the TV down to make adjustment so maybe I'll do that another time. I wish there was a easier way to make that adjustment.
You can of course attach the sound bar separately on the wall. It comes with mounting template for doing that as wel.
