I'm really surprised that this hasn't gotten more traction (comments).
Yes, AC not AX, but for may this would suit their purpose very inexpensively.

My inlaws have a property that has a long down-sloping gated driveway, about 150ft long with volcanic rock walls on each side. They want a ring or other video doorbell down at the end of it, but don't have wifi down there and the home wifi won't go even close to down there. Would I be able to set these up as a mesh network in the home, and have a couple more routers extend down that driveway (the first at the top of the driveway within line of sight of atleast one of the routers in the house, the 2nd one midway down the driveway within line of sight of the 1st) to provide the camera door bell with wifi? All this assuming I can keep them weather safe and powered.

Hey, it's not so bad if you don't mind someone in China looking at your network traffic.

Using an iPhone or iPad to post that?

Check where it's made.

I have bought and installed the 3 unit kit of these TCL Mesh systems. They work really well, I was kind of surprised. I bought just one kit and after installing - I bought 4 more for clients. I also like the ability to hard wire into any of the units if that is needed. I bought 2 of the 2- packs this time. Do not let the cheap price fool you- I have been very happy with them.
Yah, at this price the smart move is to buy 4 or 6 so you have extras for coverage / replacement protection. Super cheap.

Just know the speed capability up front.

You might be able to make a directional wifi antenna work. Have an access point in a window or similar, aim the far antenna at it.

If you have power at intermittent points through the distance that would work too but you'd be a lot better off running cat in the long run.

iPhone and iPad are designed by Apple in California. So, nothing to worry about, right?

But you'll use the Chinese-made phone, smart TVs, laptop, tablet, printer, smart plugs, smart bulbs, toaster, modem, and guest wifi wherever you go with no questions asked. Smart, way to be selectively careful.

There is no reason to think there would ever be a Tesla ban. This just comes from people who have no clue but dislike Musk or think he's weird. They're right about him but a Tesla ban is just some bizarre fantasy.

I trust Apple even if it is made in China but I don't trust Chinese companies as they are obliged to help CCP.

Nice Product. But must have some basic knowledge of how to set up a wi-fi system.
