It looks out of stock, but gives the option of "Back-Ordered". What does this mean?

Back-Ordered
Expected availability: Mid Dec 2022

It's still orderable so, if you order now, it will be shipped to you when their stock gets replenished.

us and british gov never ban anything from selling, they have a ban that prevents government from using the items for government purposes (mainly federal level).

for example, both british and US (federal gov) band using lenovo for government usage, but for anyone else . . . they can buy it anytime and use it. this in turn makes regular people panic and some stop buying it. you can walk into any school or public library and all you will see is lenovo (affordable cost).

US and brit gov can not explicitly start banning randomly without due-process and providing actual evidence, because the opposition can do the same thing. but what they can do, is block the devices in question from their sensitive system. also, they can use same backdoor when they need it Wink
Not true. Some US government entities still use Thinkpads. They have to be built in the factory in North Carolina and they are still serviced by an IBM managed team based out of Atlanta.

that must have been the new agreement after the initial ban. uk may have same setup. the point is that what is sold to you and me is not made in N.C. Wink

additionally, US and uk never provided any evidence about the list of companies on the black list. it just made a public causation and ban. to put a ban on not selling the item inside the US it will require legal action to avoid retaliation.

Amazon q&a says it supports backhaul. Ordered a pair.
I got similar deal with dlink m5 and it drops connections like anything. Regret getting dlink m5, hope TCL is not like that.

These did not work at all for me. Internet speeds would crawl to a complete standstill every 24hrs and I could only fix it by unplugging the main unit. Do not recommend.

Not what I'm reading on Amazons Q&A. Each unit also has WAN & LAN ports.

Hi Guys. O have a question. I tried research but didn't find an answer. What is better (i have gigabit down and 35mb upload)

I currently have - Linksys - Max-Stream AX6000 Mesh Wi-Fi 6 Router - Black (MR9600)

Or 6 of these TCL nodes.

I'm having issues with my 2.4 reaching my ring cameras. My 2.4g is basically unusable for phones with the Linksys MR9600

Can these be used with xfinity pods? Thanks!
These do what the xfinity pods do. But better and way cheaper. And it's yours to keep

I have bought and installed the 3 unit kit of these TCL Mesh systems. They work really well, I was kind of surprised. I bought just one kit and after installing - I bought 4 more for clients. I also like the ability to hard wire into any of the units if that is needed. I bought 2 of the 2- packs this time. Do not let the cheap price fool you- I have been very happy with them.
I was gonna do the same. Can you tell me if i buy 2 packs (4 unites) and set up as 1 whole system?

I bought and then returned these last month.
You can ONLY configure them through their app and it only has extremely basic options.
While it says that you can connect 100 devices, they struggled with 30.

Why on earth would it have 2 gigabit ports if it can't do backhaul? Cmon now...think before posting.
