Not really. Putting this on a pistol length barrel makes it no longer a pistol. It's now a short barreled rifle that requires NFA rules be followed (tax stamp, etc). Stupid rules yes.

What makes you say it works on any MilSpec lower? Most of the reviews say it needs to be a rifle buffer and not carbine.

The Gen2 says fits standard A2 buffertubes. Gen1 says carbine length buffer. All this info is available on Hera's website.
