Folks who are waiting on the rebates, please add if you hear something from Costco. For years these deals sounded unsustainable, but they kept on fulfilling the rebates. Finally I dipped my toes in Sep and before it could be fulfilled , this hppens Frown

Wasn't exactly shocked to see this. I'm surprised there are as many phone stores still open as they are. Most people just order them online nowadays and personally, I'd rather not talk to a sales person ever.

Sucks that they all got laid off via phone call this morning and now the entire company appears to be wiped from the internet overnight like they never existed. I'm sure Costco will figure out a way to make the rebates right with people, but someone on reddit said they had a couple hundred customers to call about their phones and rebates and such.

Looks like there were multiple factors driving this. Too bad there wasn't much transparency but at least the CEO provided some context?

Looks like Costco looking to end the partnership was the nail in the coffin.

Oh shit, I have a good friend that works/ed there, she hooked up family members with iPhone upgrades earlier this year! They were looking for a new job, I hope they got it before this happened out of the blue.
