I literally just put down my ps4 controller and halfway through GOW from 2018.

Having kids REALLY delays my video game playing. When I'm ready for a ps5 they'll be $250!! (Hopefully)

Why? They have just been becoming available to buy now for most people. I got mine back in 2020 but I'm more of a die hard who had it pre-ordered. Still lots of pent up demand for people who couldn't get one before who buy it now for retail. Maybe in a couple years you will see it on sale when they introduce the PS5 Pro.

Might be regional, around here (for the most part) asking prices are $700 and under, many of which being right at $500-550 average range unless it's a special edition version of the console.

I bet those a-hole scalpers wish they had time machines.
