Nope. The have a history of mixing stock with vendors. An employee told me that Amazon also buys known counterfeits of certain items. They do honor returns though, so you're not risking much as long as you know how to test it.

I bought the 256 on Amazon and used Samsung's authentication tool and it said it was legit. I wonder how widespread the issue is with counterfeits.
