Yes, it's confusing. 'mil' is the same as 'thou'. Each referring to thousandths if an inch, despite the mili prefix being metric.
0.1 mm = 0.004 inch = 4 mil
Avoid these no-brand gloves at all cost and go with Ammex, Kimberly Clark, MechanixGear, Halyard, or Gloveworks brands (5mm thickness) -
the cheap brands are very thin and prone to ripping and are inconsistent in sizing and thickness.

The Kirkland gloves do not fit well and ever since the pandemic the quality has gone downhill quickly. Not even close to 3.5mm

Deals been up for a day or two… which means they aren't selling considering it's woot! And things sell out quickly

Doesn't mean the price is bad.

Does anybody know what the mil is for Costco gloves? Are they 4 mil, or 5 mil, or somewhere in between?

Update: found it. It's 3.5mil as per product description.
Is that for the exam gloves or the food handling gloves?

And in case someone was wondering, Costco's nitrile exam gloves are 400 for $34 while the nitrile food handling gloves are 500 for $30

I've only seen the exam gloves at the costcos I've been to. What's the difference? Are the exam gloves thicker?

In the case of these gloves, is there any best if used by date / year? Do they degrade even if stored well? These look like lifetime supply sorta quantity. Thanks and reps.

Before the 19 we used to buy 1000 nitrile for around $65. Now anything at that price or below is subpar as in they will RIP easy, extremely poor quality. Normally I would jump all over this, but I own a cleaning company and I wouldn't want to waste money and time if these are not great.

I work for a glove manufacturer for a living. If they are selling these at this low of a price, there are a few things to look out for. QUALITY and HOW OLD. If they are old, they will be dry and brittle, have no elasticity and break quite easily. IMO, they are probably total junk.

Yes, I have had them break down and start to stick together. I guess that's why condoms have expiration.
