$400 from Amazon. Cheapest I've seen in the last 3 months. Firmware update on this basically brings it up to par with the newer Uniden R8.

This is the closest i've seen (outside the scam BS from amazon) to the Best Buy clearance about 6mo ago ($350 if i remember).

Very good detector. Having the directional arrows is very helpful.

Even though newer models have come out, the prices on these haven't changed much in 2 years, and in many cases, these actually cost more now, so any discount is good.

Now I see a recent firmware update to my R3 that adds more features and tweaks. Great to see a company that keeps updating prior products to keep up with current changes.

Price drop again! Most used one are asking for $400.
Last price drop least for an hour, hope it stays longer this time.

No. Not buying from Amazon risks the warranty not being honored.

Didn't know the R3 got an update. It had been so long since the last update I stopped checking.

I was agreeing with buying from Amazon vs a 3rd party seller.
