Lol 7 days free is a deal?
Well, HBO Max rarely offers free trials, unless you go through YouTube TV [youtube.com] or Hulu [hulu.com] and do it as an add-on, even those are 7-day trials. They do offer a 30-day trial if you buy a Roku.

https://www.roku.com/offers/hbomax

They don't offer any free trial directly from HBO Max.

The deal was more of a heads up so people can use their free Prime No Rush credits towards it. They used to have HBO Max on Prime Video and they removed it for some reason.

Thanks. Most of my no-rush credits expire without being used, so this is at least worth looking at. Will see if there is anything of interest available.

Hey, 7 days free would be a good chance to binge the GoT spin off House of Dragons.

Will this have a Livestream of HBO like the HBO Go channel used to have in Amazon Channels?

It does indeed. Without being subscribed you can go to the Prime Video section on Amazon, search for "HBO", click on the HBO Max link at the top and then scroll down to the last row. You should see the "HBO Max Watch Live" section. 8 live HBO channels.

I'm genuinely confused but ready to get downvoted. What's the deal here? Is it the fact that you can get an HBO Max 7-day trial through Amazon Prime?

The deal is you get 7 days to binge watch what you want then make sure to cancel before regular monthly rate starts, HBO is not cheap.

Carefull, I canceled paid HBO subscription on Prime and re-upped on its own standalone website, for the simple reason that not everything on HBO Max shows up on Prime.

Also, if you have a Roku TV you can use the HBO Max app, don't need to bother with Prime.

A free week is something, I guess. Compared to $1 per month on Peacock, it is not a lot, I am sorry to say.

For those of you that have not watched HBO in several years, this is not the HBO you remember probably, I get it at a huge discount and that's the only reason I ever watch it some…also STARZ has become an absolute joke, it used to be my favorite channel, so make sure you check out their programming before subscribing

Oh, we enjoyed that one. I thought they did a good job with it.

Pretty good RT score. Guess it's not for everyone.

We liked 8-Bit Christmas too.
