Pre-ordered during the first wave few weeks ago, still deciding if I actually want it. Seems like the only worthy game would be Horizon Forbidden West.

Definitely waiting on price drop, reviews and the killer PS5 VR exclusive. My PC headsets have been collecting dust for a bit.

Does purchasing this from ps direct give free shipping for current ps+ essential members like purchasing a ps5 from ps direct did?

I liked PSVR 1 well enough to get this but the launch titles don't look great and it's not backward compatible with PSVR 1 games.

Just waiting for PSVR 2 to have at least a few good games. What good is a VR headset that can't play Beat Saber? 😄

Agree. Disappointing that it isn't backward compatible. So you need 2 vr sets or just stop playing all the PSVR1 games? Thanks Sony. I'll keep using my PSVR1 that works with my ps4 pro and ps5.

Maybe in 2 years when PSVR 2 has some titles I really want I'll buy. Or just stay with VR on pc using one of the highly rated sets.

I was looking forward to it, had it in my cart then stared at the total price. That amount with free shipping.... yikes. Then after reading it's a corded system I backed out.

This is going to have a lower adoption rate than the original PS VR (Which to this day as ~ or less than a 4.5% attachment rate for PS4).

No original PS VR Title Backwards compatibility + High Cost (more than PS5 itself) + a shaky launch library that has been announced (and only 2 months away from release in a weird month of February) + no incentive for purchase by owners of legacy hardware (i.e. PS4 owners who had MOVEs and the useless PS4 camera were motivated to get a PSVR) = It aint gonna be pretty

Is retail going to carry this thing? I'd rather spend gamestop credit on it.

Yes. Probably not at first. Its probably an PSN website exclusive for now like the Dualsense Edge controller.

Well they learned that consumers over-payed for PS5s for multiple years from resellers = high price tag and "limited availability drives demand" … womp womp. Why make it $399 when consumers are spending $650, 750 for PS5s 😂💀 y'all don't remember years ago when the Nintendo 3DS came out at $250 and months later they had to cut it down to $169 cause no one was buying it at the overpriced tag. Y'all need to let this VR go so we can see it drop. Stop over-buying into the "limited availability" hype.

Fyi, the preorder may not even ping your bank account until about a week before shipping. The page says it verifies payment now and then a week before but I'm not sure about that. I was in on the first round of the preorders and never saw the pending charge show up at all. So it seems to be relatively risk free to preorder now and decide later.
Agree! I saw the same... no charge on card right now.
