Yup, just don't plug in the RGB cable or disable it in the software that you use for controlling RGB.

The woot deal might have them included, but these cold be older stock. I would buy one of the cool master out-of-the-box kit for LGA1700 since they're only $5

Can I just buy and use it? Why does it say I had to buy additional upgrade kit ? Can I use this in other countries which use different wattage

Wattage is the unit rating for how much heat the CPU is expected to produce, Thermal Design Power, or TDP is expressed in a wattage number. Coolers display the wattage or heat production from the cpu that they are rated for. This number is the same for the same CPU regardless of geography.

I'm talking about CPU socket adapters, not wattage.

That all depends on your current CPU, it seems like the only socket that needs a "kit" is the 1700.

You mean Voltage not Watts. The power that goes to this comes from the computer power supply, which is the same regardless of input Voltage.
