I'm an Iron worker and love Thorogood boots. USA made and very comfortable. Going on 3 years now and there still holding up. I've wore them down to the soles, stitching was burnt out when welding and there still holding together well.

Manufacturer's product page says "Goodyear storm welt construction". So probably gyw.

I actually don't see the storm good year welt listed as a feature on this boot but I do on others. I'm guessing this boot does not have it.

That high toe box is giving me Herman Munster vibes. But I still might get a pair of the Wellies as clod-hoppers to wear around the yard for chores and such, or to take camping.
