I got the black 370 set on the deal a couple weeks ago......and I've seen the colored ones personally (they stock them in the super walmarts around me as singles)....and they really aren't that bad IMO. The off white looks a lil dingy....but the other colors look cool.

I love my set. I have all but the 10s and they have all held up.
Shipping took forever but it paid off because I ended up with extras for free.

Got the 370lb black ones from the deal last month, they're not fancy but do the trick. For whatever reason I didn't receive the boxes for the 15s and 10s, Walmart gave me a refund for those and I reordered although in hindsight I should have just wait till those came on sale ($95 refunded, bought the plates back for $110 lol).

Thanks for the post OP! Saw a long-term YouTube video on these. Not bad the blue 45lb ls tools some abuse and still kept going. One guys split but still functioned. He was dropping these hard.

Whats the lowest $ / lb you've seen these plates go?

Also, how do you management 10lb overall increment increases for something like hip thrust for glutes? Do I need to buy some other 2 X 5lb plates out there?

Which would mean I would need plate increments of 10lbs, like 20lbs, 30lbs, 40lbs, in order to do 5lb jumps (so I can get 15lbs, 20lbs, 25lbs, 30lbs etc by adding the 2 X 5lbs plates).

Ive never used a barbell. No bench press or squat powerrack yet. Just doing hip thrusts on a flat bench.

But I've been using adjustable dumbbells and using 5lbs increments on each side (so 10lbs total) for progressive load (10lb jumps on each side = 20lb jumps are waaaaaay too much).

Whats the right increment jumps for a barbell?

I have 55# ones. They knick easily and still smell like rubber after a year, but they do the job.
