You're right. I actually canceled my order. Heard too many so so reviews about the audiobox 96 and I really want my recordings to be solid.
I may settle for a behringer umc 204 if I cant get the Yamaha ag06 or scarlett 2i2 for less than $100

This is for recording high fidelity music through a microphone or instrument and interfacing it to your computer so you can use a digital audio workstation (daw) to record, produce, mix, master, etc. Not saying you should not purchase it, but for podcasting and zoom calls it's like using a space shuttle to go to your mailbox

But I'd rather over-spend than under. I might use it for some music recording if that's possible.

If you want pro recordings I mix and master even can make a $20 Gaming mic sound like a studio mic. I use a USB blue yeti and own a at2020 a shuresm7b and many more email me at [email protected] Ask for vocal presets you don't need all that gear trust me. I only charge 35 per song 100 for 10 songs.

I tried a blue Yeti and when I moved to the AT2020 it made a world of difference and that's with plug-ins.
