Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?

I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.

If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

for in-home use at location provided at activation

in theory - if you ping off a different area, they could shut you down.

Existing T-Mobile Home Internet customers, including those on the Magenta Max bundle, are not eligible for this deal.

This makes me sad. I just signed up for their home internet less than a month ago.
Boo, guess I can't get it. Have insider code and magneta max.

Guys, it is confirmed it would be Unlimited data at 5G speed*. For $25/month, you can get high speed internet up to 5G speed data*. Not bad right?

* No overages or data caps apply on our network. Data prioritization will only be noticeable when you access a congested tower and have used over uncertain amount of data in a particular billing cycle. You will continue to get unlimited high speed data on your home internet when you aren't accessing a congested tower. We will not tell you when or how slow it would be. It depends on how much your parents, your aunty, your uncle, your pop pop, your nana, your ex, your neighbor, your step siblings, your cousins, your cat and dogs use the internet data.

Signed up last month for this as a Magenta Max (Employee) customer. Final monthly price for the internet service after applying promotions was $20. I'll receive a $100 MC prepaid card after 3 month of service. The 5G device shows 4 out of 5 bars and provides a speed of 185-190 mbps. The upload is no more than around 10 mbps. Haven't tried using it with WebEx/Teams.

Hopefully this will force Verizon to lower the monthly cost on their fixed wireless home internet plans as well. Right now there is discount but only if you are on certain vz unlimited cell phone plans $$$

I had this for a few months, I got about 600mbps down and around 80mbp up, but I'm super close to the tower. Only issue I had was that it wasn't usable for games, I was always lagging, other than that it was fine. I switched to Comcast when they had a deal on 800mbps for $35

it does allow Magenta users to downgrade to Essentials, if they wanted/needed the data/HS originally

Those looking to take advantage of the offer also would need to have not had T-Mobile Home Internet for at least 30 days.

so looks like you can leave for a month, and apply if the offer is still available

I'll add to others. I've been with t mobile home internet for a good while now. I took a break cuz comcrap offered a cheaper deal, but I regretted that and switched back to tmobile for phones and internet again. In both places we lived I was usually at least 150 Mbps, now I'm usually closer to 200 . Ive used it for all my needs including cloud gaming. Its handled it all well and I recommend. Even if you just give it a shot it's worth it.

I had this service in a major metropolitan city earlier this year. First few months were great, 300-400mbps then as I started to download PS5 games, I noticed that I started getting throttled pretty hard. Dropped to like 40-50mbps.

I read somewhere that their home internet customers are very low on the priority list. It was a neat service and super easy to setup, but I probably wouldn't do it again if I had other traditional ISPs to pick from.

That being said, $25 is hard to beat…

Congestion is so bad in my area that the unlimited band it no longer offered. They are only offering the LITE plan which is data capped. I got temporarily put on the LITE band and speeds were faster than unlimited in my area. IT makes sense as they want to give you the highest speeds on LITE so you'll hit your data cap and then pay for more data.

So, good deal for those in non congested areas. Not worth it if you are in a congested area in my opinion. Doesn't hurt to try it out though and see for yourself.
