Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

Need to get a smaller house , signal only travels approx 30 feet more or less from gateway ?
Wi-Fi signals from the gateway? Probably a little more than 30 but you can just connect a router of your choice to it.

i had their home internet for less than 2 months. had to get out. it was horrible and unreliable. at night it's ok but during the day time i couldn't even do meetings... it was that bad. when i looked up the issue it has to do with prioritization. if i remember right they use cell towers and when traffic gets congested the home internet folks get low priority and your connection = DOO DOO = can't even hold a meeting. YMMV of course.

Yes on both, as always, for postpaid cellular services on any carrier.
Verizon claims to do a soft pull for their 5g home internet.

This is a great deal if your in a 5g area, my T-Mobile 5g in my house off my iPhone pulls down 300mbps vs my Xfinity home internet which is about 400-500mbps. For $25 for life this is a no brainer but it depends if your in an area that has solid service.

Can you elaborate on what you mean here
He's not 100% correct. CGNAT works on gaming as client but mostly will not work if you serve a game..

CGNAT means your public IP is shared among other users so there are things you cannot do such as DDNS, port forwarding, and those servers or IOT's that needed to be accessed directly. In short, you cannot do advance stuff which 99% of people here doesn't know or do.

Gaming, watching youtube, facebook, TokTik, CornHub etc or the things people normally do on the internet is perfectly fine for CGNAT.

Personally I hate CGNAT but for 25 a month, this is a good back up internet specially if you can bring it anywhere (camping, in cars) etc.

Def only good if you are in a good cellular spot for T-Mobile. I tried this for 2 months, really wanted to make it work. But so many issues and drop connections because it would lose the signal or have all the prioritization problems. You need to be getting a very good signal for it to be worth it. Just don't cancel your current ISP until you've tried it out and can know for sure it'll work out for you

I want to try this but I am a little concerned. We have Frontier fios now 500/500 at about $70 a month, no issues.

Have 5-6 nest cameras running 24/7

Stream 2 TVs at a time

Use YouTube tv and other streaming services

Use PS4/5 and Switch for online gaming such as Fortnite and Call of Duty

Spouse and I both work from home. I can have teams/webex calls that last 8 straight hours

Is T-Mobile internet even something that would work for us?
Why do you even need to save $45 when both wfh? Low price always comes with a cost.

Let's see if I can force spectrum to lower my current price. They just super my price to $55 per month. Does anyone know what's the lowest I can get out of spectrum?

This was the most frustrating/crappy internet connection that I have ever had. Customer service was a tragic joke, much like a clown crying. I live in a major city with multiple towers close by.
Was it worst than Clearwire "broadband"? Because that really really was bad and you couldn't play anything.
