Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

I just called in and ordered, phone rep says all existing customers are eligible. Hopefully they actually know what they're talking about! You might have to call like it's 1999 Smilie
Ugh, I guess I could try that. At least via chat I can screenshot the conversation to ensure I get the discount. Overphone they said I would have to pay $35 service fee also. I'll wait a little until I see the actual promotion go live on the site.

Like 6 months ago I was going to give this T-Mobile home internet a try. According to the representative that contacted me it was available in my area, but since I wasn't on Magenta Max (Sprint Kickstart 2.0) and I wasn't willing to change my plan, I didn't sign up. I get 5GUC in my house most of the time and regularly average 80GB of data each month, but for whatever reason, even if I could get this deal, it says not available at my address.
Exactly what mine says - and on two addresses I tried.

I'm on chat now. The agent confirmed the $25/mo deal and combines with the $100 virtual gift card promo. It may take 1 or 2 billing cycles for the promo to kick in, and a credit will be applied to offset it. I then asked if it'll be a forever $25 monthly credit and was told no. After 1 to 2 billing cycles, it will be billed at $25/mo. I'm on the simple choice plan.

Just chose my shipping method for the gateway. Make sure you pick 2-day shipping for $0. Default is ground, or next day for $15. Almost finished placing my order. There's supposedly a $35 "assisted support charge" but is waived.

The irony.

So by wanting to pay less you are agreeing to pay more…
I'm agreeing to pay the same 50 I been paying somewhere else. That's just what she said.

But it seems T-Mobile is now doing some trickery by making many ineligible by changing their location from available to not available in the last 48 hours, based on what their current plan is. ONE plan here with two lines, High Speed Internet shows not available in my neighborhood now.

A closer look at availability page shows: Spots are limited in your area. so I guess in simple terms that means, if you have a lower end ONE plan no, but yes for more expensive plans.

She said there might be $35 activation fee, and I actully said Ok that's fine but at the end of the order it wasn't there. But yes, "paper" trail is always good... I'm just going to keep my fingers crossed for this one.

I recommend waiting for the promo info to officially come out, that way you can read the actual terms and have evidence in case things go south. T-mobile is notorious for having customers service reps promise everything and messing things up on your account and then no one on T-Mobile's end being able to fix things up.

More than a toaster oven or your 1200W refrigerator?
LOL if your refrigerator ran at 1200W then something is very broken and probably smoking.

Ok, well that isn't what your post said.

She said it's going to cost you more and you agreed, per what you wrote.

But sure if it's the same price, I would rather stick with cable internet vs wireless internet.

I looked on page 41/42 but I tried logging into my account through desktop/mobile and am still seeing the $55/month pricing.

I'm on the One Plan with One Plus promo.

I'm assuming calling in/chatting is the only way to get this?

Looking at someone's screenshot it shows $20/month with autopay. Is it 25 a month or 20 a month?
