Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

Hahaha now the Internet service providers are fighting for customers by giving 50% off the original price. I had this Internet for a year then switched to Spectrum for $20 per month with 300mbps. Now I always get 300mbps all the time with Spectrum. For T-Mobile I only got 300mbps around 3-5am early in the morning then it went down to 130mbps during the day. I pass this promotion this time. The quality of T-Mobile Internet is not as good as Spectrum Internet. I believe At&t Fiber is the best but it looks expensive now compared to Spectrum & T-Mobile if you don't care much about the speed.

So if it says the service is not available in the area we can't get it . Am I right? Or did someone found a work around? They should add an unlimited hotspot service to an existing accounts for $25. That's it.

Rep stated it was because I was on the Simple Choice plan. I already have TMobile internet
So am I.

There is zero in the terms saying this only applies to magenta plans. There is zero in the terms saying you have to add a line.

You could give them an address of a family or friend that is covered and move it over to your place…

I have a monthly TMobile prepaid plan which is$15 per month, I chatted with a TMobile rep and she told me I have to upgrade to the mergenta plan, and add two lines to qualify for $35 per month home internet. I had TMobile home internet for more than a year already. They said I don't qualify for this deal. Im curious if anyone here is already on TMobile home internet and trying to get on this deal.
The problem here is probably that you are on a prepaid plan.

I wouldn't do that. That is a bad decision to get an internet service. They told you that there is no service at your area, that means no equipment is installed at your area.

Might be a stupid question but if I get it, can I take it with me as a hotspot in my car?

Holy...after nearly 2 hrs and chatting with THREE reps, I finally got this deal. The first two reps said I was not qualify for this plan. The third Rep didn't even wait for me to ask. He just said "we have 5G Home Internet for $25 for life, would you like to sign up?"

So I got the $25/mo 5G Home Internet and the $100 virtual prepaid Mastercard will come in 6-8 weeks. He waived the setup fee. The 5G gateway will be shipped 2-days air for free. He said I will also get Paramount+ streaming service for free. Chat was super sloooow.

FYI I currently have 4 lines with T-Mobile for the past three years. The plan I'm on is 4 lines for $115/mo including tax and fees with autopay. My address is in Garden Grove, Orange County CA. My house gets good 5G connection. I'm currently using Spectrum cable internet at $75/mo. I tried numerous time to get them to adjust to the $50/mo but they won't budge.

Group, I called T-Mobile to add this to my current plan - the price will show as $50 and you will receive a $25 credit every month you have service - so it does net to the $25 mentioned for life of the account.

I too saw the $50 and said "that's not right" T-Mobile rep quickly found the promotion and said the $25 credit will appear monthly - should have my unit in 2 days

I m a current T-Mobile Magenta customer with 6 phones @ $112 per month - got 2 free lines during the last 2 years holiday promotions
