Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?

I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.

If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

For the $100 virtual prepaid master card , you must submit online at promotions.t-mobile.com with promo code ithin 30 days of activation:. You must wait until you receive the device and activate the device before you redeem the offer Online- this is what customer chat rep is telling that. is it true?
I put the code in right away after getting order #. The submission page said it was received and being reviewed, allow up to 8 weeks. Seeing as how its 2 day shipping, I'd think I'd have a chance to activate it before anyone looks at my submission

Can this be done on their website? I got to the part where it's still said $55 in cart for the service, didn't show any promotion applied or anything.

When doing it online, are people seeing $25/month rate after adding it to cart?
Nope, still 50

So stupid, so the solution they provided for existing customers is to shop around elsewhere???
Lol gotta love how these monopolies operate. I called Charter to see if they would lower my bill because of this deal. Flat out told me no. It is crazy for a company to make you leave instead of working with you.

ARC KVD21 GATEWAY BLK CPO is what it says on my order history. Hope it helps!
Thanks and repped. I was able to use that to compare it to the Nokia gateway. It seems overall they are pretty equal in performance, so I don't feel quite so bad still having the Nokia "trash can".

I just went to a T-Mobile store and was told the same thing. The employee showed me the internal T-Mobile document and FAQ for the promotion. It states in clear terms that if *any* line is cancelled in the future then the $25 credits would stop. It also stated that if you have cancelled an internet line within the past 90 days then that line would need to be reactivated to get the $25 credits on the second internet line.

If any rep tells you otherwise then they are misinformed.

30 days? From T-Mobile's page:
Well there goes any possibility for an existing Internet user like me to get the $25 deal. T-Mobile has done a good job closing all the loopholes to screw existing Internet customers. I use that word because existing Internet customers will see a speed decrease while paying the same price.

Do I understand this correctly -- If any T-Mo line is cancelled, then the $25 Home Internet credit for new customers will get cancelled too? For instance, say you have 6 cell lines and a VOIP line, then you add Internet for $25. If you later cancel 1 of the cell lines or the VOIP line, then your $25 Internet credit vanishes forever?

If yes, then this deal is locking everyone into their existing cell plans forever in order to keep the $25 Internet credit.

At this point I'm giving up hope and moving on since no existing customers have posted success, except perhaps by adding a 2nd Internet and they can't cancel the first Internet.

This is my experience signing up as a new Home Internet customer with a Simple Choice plan. I was unable to get the $25 price online so I contacted T-Force on Facebook. They were able to sign me up for the $25 Home Internet plan along with the $100 prepaid rebate card and no activation fee. The service address was different than my billing address (my folks house). They were able to accommodate that request and even offered to ship the device directly to the service address. Overall, quick and painless and I'm hoping the service works well. Thanks!

I was denied the promotion because my account is currently receiving government discounts. What?

What about the $100 prepaid card that people are talking about?
I just signed up and got the $100 card too. They give you a promo code you can enter online once the service is activated.

I just made the switch from Verizon.

I got:
1. $25 internet with $100 credit and activation fee waived.
2. 2 free iPhone 13s, trading our XRs. even swap.
3. Six magenta max cell lines for $255. comes with (5) $200 mastercard gift cards, all 6 lines have activation fee waived, free netflix and apple tv subscription.
In a few months, I can downgrade to the Megenta plan for $180 with no effect on the mastercard gift cards.

Does this mean you still get 5G speeds once 8G or 9G is a thing??

How much Wi-Fi speed can we expect for download and upload (mbps)? How is the comparable with Cox (250 mbps, 60$ per month)? Could anyone provide review on the Tmobile internet through this offer?
