I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?

The T-Mobile chat agent that assisted me was not aware of this promo. I had to provide them the CNet URL on the first page. I asked the agent what's the cheapest voice plan that qualifies for this promo. I will not be porting my existing mobile number.
All in all, I got "Unlimited Talk & Text Only" for $20/month and the "T-Mobile Home Internet" currently shows $55 on the bill summary ($0.00 due today) that the agent provided, but she assured me it will be $25/month on the final bill.
They're sending me the "ARC KVD21 GATEWAY BLK CPO [t-mobile.com]".
The promo they told you about is a different one that applies to Magenta Max customer and was active before today.
Can i lock in with different address for t-mobile one acct.
Thank you
6 paid lines are used by myself and family members
1 free line acts as a spare e-sim line on my iPhone so I can essentially get 4 different numbers ringing my phone. 2 t-mobile numbers and 2 google voice numbers
1 free line acts as a hotspot on a 5g hotspot device (international version)
1 free line is in my wife's work phone as a spare sim for t-mobile Tuesday deals

Posting the terms below. This Promo is not tied to any plan, ie you don't need Magenta. Also, it requires you to have a voice line, ie if you have one you don't need to add a new one. The problem right now is that there is another promo (2022 HINT P18) for Magenta Max that was active before the $25 for life one, and the Customer Reps are telling people they need Magenta Max thinking on that old promo.
When calling, chatting, or in-store you can mention to promo "2022 HINT P22" so that the customer rep can find the Promo.
The Bill breakdown should by $55 for the internet service, -$5 of Auto-Pay discount, -$25 Bill Credit of promo "2022 HINT P22".

They have changed the hardware since then but based on the comments, I'm not biting. At this point for T-Mobile Internet, you might be better off getting another mobile phone device with monthly payments around the same cost and setting it up as a mobile hotspot instead. At least you know it will be portable and actually receive a 5G signal for a device you will end up owning instead of renting.
(Just making a point with a half joke about the phone line but the more I think about it, the more it ALMOST makes sense lol)
