Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?

I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.

If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

Current T-Mobile mobile and internet customer..had to cancel internet service, call right back order for new price... Will have to wait a day or so for new modem and send old one back. (They wouldn't let me just keep the old one.)

I don't think you'll be able to get the bill credits. Terms state:
"If you have cancelled Internet lines in past 90 days, you may need to reactivate them first"

Job done on their site in 5 minutes. Said $55/mo, but I know I fall inside the promo period and will get the bill credits, as always. Already signed up for the $100 Visa rebate too. Any other way is a waste of time, imo.

how can you tell if the home internet plan has been added to your account. So far, I only have email re. order of the gateway. CSR assured me that I had the $25 plan but I don't see it on my account. Maybe it shows up after activating gateway?

I believe this promo is actually $30/month if you already receive the maximum autopay discount of $40 (8 lines). Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
