Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

so that's dumb that if you're autopay is maxed out you can only get $30/month
Hope you have insider discount to bring it down to $24.

I've got SC, chatted online and rep said it's only for Magenta/Magenta Max. Asked her to confirm and she got angry and basically ended the chat. Trying T-Force on twitter...

TMobile 5G is dreadful in my place in the middle of huge urban area and not a particularly dense housing area with nimbys. It is pathetic. If I had to rely on cellular only, I would have switched carriers already.

I thought insider discount applied to voice lines only. Does it apply to internet?

How big is the modem?
There are 3 models that they are giving out. The Nokia trashcan, Arkadian, and the Sage. The Sages is the bigger of the 3 and the Arkadian is the one with the smaller profile. Check on YouTube as there are plenty of reviews showing all three at the same time and will give you and idea.

Just called T-Mobile. I am an existing customer with home internet in my dads name. You can't add the promotion or cancel to add. Would be a 90 day wait to qualify for promotions and won't last that long.

But I asked if I can sign up for the new service and put it in my name as a new customer and qualify and they said I can!

So trick is sign up as a new customer and to put it in your spouses or kids name. You then cancel yours. As you don't need two internet accounts. And keep the one that's $25 a month. You will likely also qualify for that visa gift card for joining T-Mobile internet

I believe this promo is actually $30/month if you already receive the maximum autopay discount of $40 (8 lines). Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
You are correct. The service is $55, minus $25 bill credits, minus $5 if auto-pay is enabled and not maxed out. You can kind of see it specified on the promo terms.

Simple Choice NA plan. Checking online it shows $50 at checkout.

Stopped by a store, was able to sign up in person. The store rep told me it would be $25 bill credit. Could not provide documentation showing the price.

Went home and checked my account online. It showed the new line at $50/month. I proceeded to activate and modem and set up the network. Looked again online and now my account shows $25/month for the new line with the following discounts: $5 AutoPay Discount and $25 2022 HINT P22.
Thanks for the info, I wasn't seeing anything on my account other than an order was made under the account history. Guess I have to wait for the modem to arrive and activate the service before I can see it.

Thank you for confirming. Can you confirm if insider discount is applicable for this service? That would bring the price down to $24.

My son has it and says its way better than Spectrum. He used to have to reboot Spectrum All the time because the cameras would go out and wouldn't connect til you rebooted it, but TMobile if it gets disconnected it automatically connects to the cameras. He loves it.

just wanted to share my experience (located in Sammamish, WA). It works well outside the peak times, but lots of issues during the day when I do remote work. I experience several seconds of stuck network connections frequently. My voice is not as clear in Teams either. Unfortunately, I'll stick with Comcast for more reliable internet.

I didn't have auto-pay enabled before, not sure if the rep enabled it for me.
