However, now I see a new line added to my account with a new phone number. Confusingly, the details of this number say T-Mobile home Internet.
I also don't see the hint discount.Only the auto pay.
t's gonna be a support call day tomorrow , sigh
I think a lot of people forgot one thing, with this deal getting so popular, how many new users they think they will get in each cellphone tower area?
So if each area, the number of users get doubled because of 50% off in price, then the bandwidth per device will be divided by 2. So 200mbps will become 100mbps during peak hour and in some suburbs area may be even worse, etc.
As many posts before mentioned, the speed and ping varies by location. Location will play a huge role in stability and consistency of connection. Kind of like a "location lottery".
And when you add tons of new users because of this deal, the chance of winning this "location speed/ping lottery" is getting slimmer. And this deal likely has big impact to existing home internet users also.
Remember Tmobile doesn't guarantee the minimum speed you get. So don't cancel your old ISP right away. Try out few months first and then decide if this is right for you. Most of new users hopefully come within that time while the deal is still active so can get a better picture what kind of speed, ping, and disconnection, etc you get after those few months.
Did they run your phone number and determine whether it's billed under Sprint or T-Mobile? If so, are you billed under T-mobile, and that's why you qualify?
I don't understand how you can qualify for the promotion while being billed under Sprint. That's not possible according to multiple Sprint reps I've spoken to.

T-Mobile Home Internet $50.00/mo
Applied discounts and promotions:
$5 AutoPay Discount
I called t-mobile and the rep said the $25 credit should start showing up in 1-2 billing cycles. That's all fine, but shouldn't it also at least show up in the account (just like it is showing $5 autopay discount)? So far the only place I have it documented is in the chat transcript from when I placed the order.
$10 tax included. You can find anything even close to that?

I don't use too much data on it... probably between 10-100 GB per month per device.
